Our Story

From a Midyat Workbench to the World

Erdobia was born from a simple belief: that the extraordinary craft of Midyat’s silversmiths deserves to be worn and loved far beyond Anatolia.

The Beginning

Our journey began with a fascination for telkari — the centuries-old art of hand-woven silver filigree kept alive in the ancient city of Mardin. In the quiet workshops of its Midyat district, we watched masters turn threads of silver into lace so fine it seemed to breathe. We knew immediately that this beauty could not stay hidden. Erdobia was created to carry it into the world.

A Bridge Between Worlds

Today, Erdobia connects the hands of Anatolian craftsmen with people across the globe. We work directly with the artisans who have inherited this craft through generations, honoring their time, their skill and their heritage in every piece we offer. When you wear Erdobia, you are wearing a living tradition — and helping keep it alive.

What We Carry Forward

We are not interested in fast, forgettable jewelry. We make pieces meant to be kept, passed down and remembered — made of genuine 925 sterling silver and shaped by human hands. Every order is a small act of preservation, and every customer becomes part of the story we are writing together.

Thank you for being part of the Erdobia journey — from Midyat, with heart.
